After breakfast proceed to MUNNAR (135km) One of the most popular hill stations in India, is situated at the confluence of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala. Located at 1600 Mts. above sea level, this was once the summer resort of the erstwhile British Government in South India.
Day at leisure to enjoy the cool environments of Munnar.
Overnight stay in MUNNAR.
After Breakfast proceed to Thekkady (100km). The drive to Thekkady through the rain forest itself is enchanting as the road winds through countryside, rich plantations and thick jungles).
Evening visit to Spices plantation.
Overnight stay in THEKKADY.
Early morning proceed for a boat cruise in Periyar Lake (A boat ride in the lake surrounding the sanctuary gives one an opputunity to see the animals. This lake is unique in the sense it is manmade and one can see partially submerged tree trunks in the lake.
Rest of the day free to visit the spice plantations.
Overnight Periyar.
Early morning proceed for a boat cruise in Periyar Lake (A boat ride in the lake Morning drive to Allepey to board a rice boat and sail through the backwaters.

The view from our balcony in room # 409, was terrific. It was centrally located to everything on and around the port area. Wonderful service and everything was very clean. The breakfast was below average, although not bad. If back in Zante Town we would stay there again.

It is close to everything but if you go in the lower season the pool won't be ready even though the temperature was quiet high already.

It was very comfortable to stay and staff were pleasant and welcoming.
