Option 1    Southern Ireland

  1. DAY ONE      Arrive Shannon Airport. Greeted upon arrival by Golf Vacations Ireland. 
    Overnight at Randles Court Hotel, 4 Star Hotel, Killarney.
  2. DAY TWO     Play Ballybunion Cashen. With sand dunes just as spectacular as the Old Course, the Cashen Course contains many magnificent holes, especially the par fives.

  3. DAY THREE  Play Old Head. Situated on an Atlantic promontory that rises several hundred feet out of the sea, surrounded by cliffs and ocean with dramatic views, this is a round of golf you'll remember!

  4. DAY FOUR    Play Dooks. Laid out on a stretch of dunes at the head of the Dingle Peninsula, golf has been played here since 1889, making it one of Ireland's most historic courses.

  5. DAY FIVE     Play Waterville. One of Ireland's finest links, the front nine holes start out gently before moving to the larger dunes along the shore line.

  6. DAY SIX       Play Ballybunion Old. Ireland's most famous course, as Tom Watson simply states - "the best in the world." 
    Overnight at Vaughan Lodge, 4 Star Country House, Lahinch
  7. DAY SEVEN  Play Lahinch Old. Originally designed by the legendary 'Old' Tom Morris of St. Andrews, this course is famed for its idiosyncrasies such as the 'weather forecasting goats.'

  8. DAY EIGHT  Depart Shannon Airport.


Option 2    Trail of the champions

  • DAY ONE      Arrive at Dublin Airport and travel to Enniskillen. Play Lough Erne where Rory McIlroy is the touring professional. Stay at Lough Erne 5* Resort, Enniskillen for 2 nights 
  • DAY TWO     Play County Sligo - the West of Ireland Amateur Open Championship was won here by Padraig Harrington in 1994
  • DAY THREE  Play Ballyliffin Old - Rory McIlroy's international career started after winning a place on the Faldo Series here. Stay at Ballyliffin 4* Lodge & Spa for 2 nights
  • DAY FOUR    Play Rosapenna Old, where Rory McIlroy won the Senior Scratch Cup in 2005
  • DAY FIVE      Play Royal Portrush, home club of US Open winner Graeme McDowell and Open winner Darren Clarke. After golf, travel to Newcastle and stay at the Slieve Donard 4* Hotel, Newcastle for 2 nights.    
  • DAY SIX       Play Royal County Down - Rory McIlroy was part of the Ireland & Britain team for the 2007 Walker Cup here.  DAY SEVEN  Depart from Dublin Airport
