After breakfast depart for half day sight seeing visiting Vidhana Soudha, Cubbon Park, Lal Bagh, etc.
Rest of the day at leisure.
Overnight at Bangalore.

Morning breakfast, check out and proceed to Mysore, enroute visiting Srirangapatna -Tippu's Summer Palace. 
On arrival at Mysore, check-in at the hotel. 
After lunch we depart for half day sightseeing of Mysore visiting the Somnathpur Temple set on a chiseled plinth and guarded by elephants. We also visit the Maharaja’s Palace, Chamundi Hill and the world famous Brindavan Gardens. 
Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast proceed to Ooty, visiting enroute Bandipur and Mudumalai Wild life Sanctuaries. 
On arrival Ooty we check-in at the hotel 
After lunch visit the Botanical Gardens and the Ooty Lake. 
Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast drive to Coonoor, the beautiful plantation town set against the backdrop of the Nilgiris. It stands at the lower ridge of the plateau at an altitude of 1858 Mts (6100FT). The elevating naturally lends to the landscape. 
Return to Ooty and rest of the day free. 
Overnight.

After breakfast proceed to Kodaikanal. Set among the gently slopping Palani Hills is this charming retreat, also called Kodai. This is one of India's most beautiful hill stations frequented by tourists in large numbers throughout the year. 
On arrival check-in at the hotel. 
Overnight at Kodaikanal.

After breakfast proceed to Madurai. 
On arrival check in at the hotel. 
Pm visit includes Shree Meenakshi Temple, with its numerous Mandapas decorated with exquisite sculptures and the thousand-pillared hall which is a museum that displays temple artifacts. We also visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace and the grand ceremonial tank of water called Mariamma with its temple in the middle. 
Evening free and overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, full day excursion to Rameshwaram. The conch shaped island of Rameshwaram lies off the coast of Tamilnadu. Legend has it, that Rama halted here after his war with Ravana in order to worship Lord Shiva and do penance for having killed Ravana.
Return to Madurai, 
Overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast drive to Trichy 
On arrival check-in at the hotel.
Evening Visit Temples of Trichy which is one of the ancient towns of Tamil Nadu. It, has many interesting relics of Pallay art ( 7th century A.D.). Also visit the great temple of Srirangam. This is a massive temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu,with a 100 pillar hall highly decorated with carvings. 
Overnight stay in Trichy.

After breakfast drive to Tanjore . 
Afternoon sightseeing of Tanjore. Also called the city of temples, Tanjore is dotted with no fewer than 74 temples - the most famous of which is the Brihadeshwara temple. Visit this fascinating temple and the Thanjavur Palace. Also visit the Saraswathi Mahal Library containing rare collections of ancient books and manuscripts in various languages on various subjects. 
Overnight stay in Tanjore.

After breakfast we drive to Pondicherry 
Afternoon sightseeing of Pondicherry. This former French Colonial city in Tamil Nadu didn't come under Indian rule until 1954. Pondicherry otherwise known a Puducherry means a "New Hamlet" is located on the Coromandal Coast. It's main attraction is actually outside of town: the ashram at Auroville, built by followers of Sri Aurobindo, a philosopher/prophet born in 1870. Matrimandir, the famous monument was constructed by the Auroville Society and represent the Lotus flower. Also visit the 400 years old Manakula Vinayagar Temple. You shall also visit Sri Aurobindo Ashram named after Sri Aurobindo, famous for his integral Yoga and philosophical literary works. A French Lady, Madam Mirr Richard, followed his spiritual path and the Samadhi of both Sri Aurobindo and Mother are situated at main premises of the Ashram.
Overnight stay in Pondicherry.

After breakfast drive to Mahabalipuram (100 kms/3 hrs)
Mahabalipuram is a small, quiet seaside resort with a unique 7th century Shore Temple, a lovely beach and some of the most beautiful rock cut temples in the world. Situated on the shore of the Bay of Bengal, Mahabalipuram was already a famous seaport in the 1st century AD. This, town was a workshop for temple building. Visit the seven pagoda style shore temples, lashed by the waves of the sea and the seven rathas or temple chariots, a group of monolithic monuments & animal figures carved out of solid rock, the earliest known examples of Dravidian architecture. They were constructed in a single century long burst of creative enthusiasm, starting in the reign of Narasimhavarman 1 (AD 63068). End the visit by photography of the beautiful Shore temples at sunset. 
Later relax on the beach. 
Overnight stay at Mahabalipuram.

Morning excursion to Kanchipuram 
Kanchipuram known as the Golden City of a Thousand Temples, is one of the oldest towns in India. It is famous for both its temples, many of them remarkably well preserved and for its hand-woven silks. Kanchipuram is one of the seven sacred cities of India and it is the only one associated with both Shiva and Vishnu. Visit Ekambareshwar Temple, Kailashnath Temple, Kamakshi Temple, the Vaikunthaperumal Temple, all built in the 7th and 8th centuries. With a weaving tradition dating back to the Pallava era (when silk was the royal cloth), Kanchipuram is justly famous for its particularly fine silk saris, embellished with stunning patterns. Visit the local homes of the weavers and watch them create magic out of silk thread into saris. 
Continue drive to Chennai and on arrival check-in at the hotel.

After breakfast Sight seeing of Chennai The capital of the state of Tamil Nadu and the cultural Gateway to South India, Chennai is in some respects unlike other Indian cities. The National Art Gallery, the Museum with some beautiful temple prizes and the finest collection of South Indian bronzes are quite interesting. St. Mary's Church, Peoples Park and the beautiful Marina Beach which is the second longest beach in the world as well as the clock towers are worth visiting.
Transfer to airport for the onward journey.

The view from our balcony in room # 409, was terrific. It was centrally located to everything on and around the port area. Wonderful service and everything was very clean. The breakfast was below average, although not bad. If back in Zante Town we would stay there again.

It is close to everything but if you go in the lower season the pool won't be ready even though the temperature was quiet high already.
