Day 1
Upon arrival in Vienna, collect your rental car at the airport. Overnight in Vienna.
Day 2
Explore this exciting city, visiting St Stephen’s Cathedral and the Karntnerstrasse, Vienna’s most famous shopping street. In the afternoon, visit the Hofburg Palace, Schonbrunn or Belvedere Palace. Overnight in Vienna.
Day 3
Travel through the Wachau Valley, past vineyards, fruit farms and historic buildings along the Danube. Pause at one of the cellars to taste the wine. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 4
In Salzburg see Fortress Hohensalzburg, Mirabell Castle, Mozart’s birthplace, shop on famous Getreidgasse, or visit a local market. In the afternoon tour Hellbrunn Palace .Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 5
Travel to beautiful Salzkammergut, the imperial town of Bad Ischi and the villages of St Gilgen, St Strobi and St Wolfgang, with their panoramas of mountains, meadows, forests, farms and lakes. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 6
Visit Swarovski Crystal World en route to Innsbruck, here in the afternoon you can explore the Golden Roof House, Imperial Palace. The Hofkirche and city tower. Overnight at Innsbruck.
Day 7
Drive via Garmish-Partenkirchen , Germany’s most famous mountain resort, to Palace Linderhof and the beautiful Bhavarlan castles of Neuxchwanstein and Hohenschwangau. Overnight at Innsbruck.
Day 8
Drive to Munich International Airport to return your rental car and board your onward flight.
